Our owner Alan Ostlund has been in the plumbing business all his life. His father started Ostlund Plumbing in 1959, and Alan has continued the family business based on the three company values of Honesty, Trust, and Dependability. In 2008, Ostlund decided to evolve the business to include electrical, HVAC, and building services to address the expanding needs of their clientele. To include this new focus, the company name changed from Ostlund Plumbing to Ostlund A Service Company.

Ostlund A Service Company – a family owned business that offers a multitude of plumbing, electrical, HVAC-R, and facility services for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Ostlund, a name that continues to be trusted since 1959, services Michigan, Indiana, and Northern Ohio.
In an effort to serve our customers better and give the very best in facility services, we introduced the addition of a full service electrical division in 2010. In 2012, we added a full service HVAC-R department. Lastly, in 2013, we introduced a full-service welding department. Ostlund A Service Company is the one and only name you need to know when it comes to facility maintenance.
